Privacy Policy

What we collect

At foundation, Daybreak collects no personal data. There is no login, no email collection, and no persistent cookies beyond technical session essentials. When user accounts launch (via Clerk authentication), this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and why before that feature ships.

Analytics

We use privacy-first, aggregated analytics to understand usage patterns — pages visited and general geographic region. We do not use Google Analytics. No individual user is tracked across sessions before authentication ships.

Third-party services

Daybreak uses the following third-party services at foundation:

• —Vercel — hosting and CDN. Anonymized request logs per their privacy policy.
• —MongoDB Atlas — database. Privacy policy.
• —Sentry — error monitoring. Stack traces are anonymized; no PII is logged to Sentry.
• —Railway — worker hosting. No user data processed; market data pipeline only.

Future features

Clerk (authentication), Stripe (billing), and Resend (email) will be added when their respective features ship. This policy will be updated before each feature goes live to describe what data is collected, why, and how long it is retained.
